About Petrichorium

The word "Petrichorium" is a word I made up by combining the words "Petrichor" and "Compendium."

Petrichorium is the combination of two words that I feel fit this blog perfectly. Imagine a rainy day curled up by the window with a cup of hot, steaming tea reading your favorite novel. Now, imagine you're actually in your own library! Petrichorium is a compendium of my thoughts and my writing.

Petrichorium highlights the intersection of politics and modern literature. Too often, authors are influenced by the politics and political philosophy of their time and place. Usually, it's an unconscious influence to many, though there are plenty of well-known politically-inclined books of literature.

Petrichorium also gives you a glimpse into my writing and portfolio content, allowing you to learn a little bit more about me. If anything interests you, please get in contact with me through email!
